Galloway Overview

Vantex Resources' Galloway Project covers 2,605 ha in Dasserat Twp, Quebec, directly between the nearby mining centres of Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec, and Kirkland Lake, Ontario. The claims lie along and to the north of the highly prolific Kirkland Lake-Larder Lake-Cadillac Structural Zone (the LLCF or 'The Break'). Over 100 million ounces of gold have been produced from dozens of mines in this corridor between Kirkland Lake and Val D'or, Quebec, making this one of the world's most important mining districts.

The Golden Triangle: GP-Hendrick-Moriss Zones

An aggressive exploration drilling and surface work campaign by Vantex Resources has been successful in outlining a significant bulk gold occurrence in the GP zone (see NI 43-101 on this website or sedar.com) and in the recent discovery of the exciting new high-grade Moriss Zone 500m to the west. Exploration is currently focused on 2 main targets:

1) There is a proposed link between the GP Zone at surface and several long, deep intercepts along strike to the southwest (presently open in all directions) which make up the Hendrick Zone. The intent is to tie these intercepts together: the result would be a gold-bearing system over 1.2km long, 100m to 200m wide, with depth thicknesses of 250m to 400+m, potentially representing up to 100 million tonnes of material.

2) Expansion of the newly discovered Moriss Zone into a known resource would enhance the overall grade of the 'Golden Triangle' through the blending of bulk and high-grade material.
